Parent on Board is a parent and child program which serves as a wonderful introduction for children to the idea of school in the comforting presence of their parents. By engaging in activities like Arts and Crafts, Outdoor Experiences, Music and Movement, and Tasting and Preparing alongside their parents, children start to familiarize themselves with structured learning environments while feeling secure and supported by their caregivers. This early exposure helps children develop a positive association with learning and socializing, laying a strong foundation for their future educational journey. With sessions twice a week for 2 hours each, the program offers a well-rounded experience for both parents and children.
Centered around our thoughtfully selected age appropriate stories, the mix of activities create a dynamic and enriching environment for all participants. Engaging in Arts and Crafts fosters creativity and fine motor skills in children while providing a platform for parents to bond with their little ones over shared projects. Outdoor Experiences not only promote physical activity but also instill a love for nature and exploration in both parents and children. The Music and Movement activities are not only enjoyable for children but also aid in cognitive development and coordination. Lastly, the Tasting and Preparing sessions introduce children to new flavors and textures, encouraging healthy eating habits and culinary skills.
The program offers a holistic approach to parent-child interaction, combining fun, education, and quality time in a well-structured and engaging format. It's a fantastic initiative that nurtures the parent-child relationship while providing a diverse range of experiences for families to enjoy and grow together.
